Defendant, Mark Von Kaenel was the Broker Owner/Operator of Keller Williams Coastal Estates in Carmel CA in spring of 2021. He was one of two responsible Brokers for a sale gone wrong via the behavior of Seller's Agent Kent Weinstein and his Seller, Micah Forstein. They engaged in a fix up and disclosure fraud scheme. They attempted to take advantage of long standing confusion in state wide contracts and a network of Attorneys willing to protect those who attempted fraud. Von Kaenel and his office policies helped established a playing field for fraud and he failed to properly supervise the transaction.
